Chrisley Family news reveals that season 10 of the show has dropped leaving many wondering: With the Chrisley Family Todd and Julie Chrisley in prison for the foreseeable future, how is it possible? Continue reading and we’ll give you the low down.
Chrisley Family News – Fans Are Confused
Chrisley Family news reveals that, according to Distractify, even though both Todd and Julie are serving federal prison sentences for their bank fraud and tax evasion convictions, Chrisley Knows Best is still on the air with a new season and new episodes.
With season 10 premiering yesterday, many fans are confused, while we’re sure some are elated, the show must go on. Many had secretly hoped the show would miraculously continue, but most expected it would be canceled much in the same way 19 Kids and Counting was canceled when Josh Duggar went to prison for downloading and possessing child pornography.
Chrisley Knows Best – Is Still Cancelled
To be clear, Deadline reported that Chrisley Knows Best is most certainly canceled. However, since some of season 10 was filmed before Todd and Julie Chrisley were convicted and sentenced to hard time, those episodes will still air as scheduled.
Unfortunately, viewers can plan on being disappointed as there won’t be as many episodes as in previous seasons. It also appears that Savannah and Chase Chrisley’s spinoff is also no more.
All Chrisley Family Spinoffs Are Also Gone
The sibling duo once gained some fame early in Chrisley Knows Best and were subsequently given their own spinoff series, Growing Up Chrisley. The show aired for four seasons on the USA Network.
However, when the network dropped the axe on their parent’s show it also put an end to Growing Up Chrisley as well as another now-defunct spinoff Love Limo which featured Todd Chrisley helping a single contestant find love via speed dating.
The most recent seasons for Chrisley Knows Best contained roughly two dozen episodes. Since a portion of season 10 was filmed prior to Todd and Julie’s sentencing, according to Deadline, the final season will be considerably shorter than its predecessors. The final season of the once-popular USA staple will contain much fewer episodes than the 20-something episodes people are accustomed to.
What’s Left Of Chrisley Knows Best?
Entertainment Tonight reported in June 2022 that the show was no longer in production. Todd and Julie were both convicted that month and were each sentenced some months later in November 2022. Since Season 1- won’t include any other that, it appears that what fans will be seeing was filmed in the summer of 2022.
This means that fans won’t be seeing any behind-the-scenes narrative leading up to their convictions. Catch the final episodes of Chrisley Knows Best on Mondays at 10 PM CST on USA. Return here often for more Chrisley Family news and updates.
