British royal family news shows that Penis-gate hasn’t stopped the Markle roll—both Harry and Meghan just scored an official invite to the uber exclusive Met Gala. The ritzy event is held every year at the New York Metropolitan Museum and the cream of the Hollywood elite show up to show off.

Harry and Meghan were written off as has-beens who never were following his scandalous memoir which dropped last month. Spare is his magnum opus, a tome in which he opines repeatedly about his manhood in between trashing his family. What’s not to like? Oy vey.

Harry and Meghan will have to behave themselves however, they must observe the dress code which is half costume party and half fashion disaster; the more ludicrous the better, so it should be fun to see how these two can top their self-made, serious as heck, personas.

This year’s theme is Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty, a tribute to the iconic fashion designer. This means that the attendees must wear rags that reflect the designer’s style.

Other royal family members have attended the gala including Charlotte and Andrea Cashiraghi from the French Royal Family. Prince Harry’s cousin Princess Beatrice attended the event in 2018.

Other royals who have attended the Met Gala include, “Princess Elizabeth, Princes Maria-Olympia from Greece, Queen Rania from Jordan, amongst many others.”

Royal Family News – Princess Diana Attended The Met Gala

But arguably the most infamous royal to attend the event was very well known to Harry. That person was his late mother Princess Diana of Wales. Diana was a fashion icon in her own right and she attended the glamorous event in 1996.

Will Harry and Meghan dress in a way that also honors his beloved mother? That remains to be seen but perhaps the even bigger question is whether or not they will be invited to his father’s coronation in May. It would be a shame to score an invite to an event attended by strangers and not be asked to his own family’s shining moment. If that happens Harry will have won the battle but lost the war he has battled in the three years since Megxit.
