Coronation Street Teases Zeedan’s Future Following Recent Exit

Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that Zeedan Nazir (Qasim Akhtar) will return to the soap in the future since he’s still part of the cast members. The show confirmed that the character would be coming back, especially after his recent exit.

Fans saw Zeedan reconnect with his estranged wife, Marrium. She’s been living in London, and he returned to the cobbles to confront her husband over the death of her father, Hashim. Thanks to Alya Nazir’s (Sair Khan) intervention, the pair shared an intimate kiss, and the former said they could still make their marriage work. However, Zeedan was hesitant since Marrium would eventually return to London.

Alya realized that her brother is just staying in Weatherfield to look after her. She understands his concerns over her safety following the stabbing incident. But she wants him to be happy too. Despite her explanations, Zeedan made it clear that he was not going anywhere.

But Zeedan eventually had a change of heart. He bid his family goodbye and hopped in a taxi. He has finally decided to leave for London. The character appeared on the show between 2014 and 2018. He left the show for a few years but returned in 2021.
