General Hospital spoilers suggest Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is about to take Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) out of his business — and Port Charles — permanently. Dex is about to reveal to his girlfriend, Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) that all is not neat and tidy working for the mob master. If he quits working for Sonny, he will have to leave town. This will leave Joss rather upset, because she just wants to have a normal, public relationship with her beau.
Her life sure is mirroring her mother’s these days. Dex recently told Sonny he ended up entangled with Joss on New Year’s Eve when he saved her from The Hook — the night Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) died. Sonny gave Dex the opportunity to come clean but Dex kept a lid on what really transpired with the mobster’s stepdaughter that night. As usual, Sonny knew better, but it’s going to be too late for Dex to backpedal now.

Sonny has been suspicious of Dex for some time now. Like any business owner, he doesn’t like investing his time, trust, and resources into a new associate just to have them go off the rails and betray him. When Dex threw up another red flag, Sonny knew it was time to deploy some back-up and have one of his other associates tail Dex for a while to get to the bottom of what he was really up to. As it turns out, he’s up to no good — with Sonny’s family. The question is, which relationship is Sonny about to learn the truth about — Dex’s canoodling with Joss, or that he’s in cahoots with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell)?

When Sonny learns that Dex has lied to him and betrayed his trust, there won’t be any going back this time. He’s already given him too many so-called second chances, even allowing his kids to go to bat for Dex and not questioning their loyalty. He might regret that in hindsight. Nonetheless, Dex isn’t working for the average businessman. He’s working for a mob kingpin, and the way Sonny lets go of an associate is just what Dex, Michael, and Joss have always worried about.

When Sonny is ready to take Dex out as a matter of teaching him a lesson about who he’s messing with, the most unlikely of people will come to his defense. Why is Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) about to plead with Sonny not to take Dex’s life? Nina’s been snooping around in Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) business as of late. She wanted to get to the bottom of why Carly and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) are hiding their relationship from everyone. Instead, she found out that Joss and Dex are doing the same — and she’s going to discover in the process that Joss is pregnant! Nina needs to get a life stop sticking her nose into everyone’s business. I despise her refuse to watch when she is on. She ruins this soap. They need to kill her off nobody would even notice she is gone.She has ruined Sonny’s character makes him unlikable This soap has gone down hill since they got rid of Jason
I would love to see Nina accidentally poking her nose right into sonny’s business. Thinking she’s really spying on Carly. And Nina gets caught by Ms Wu & tells Sonny. Or let Ms Wu tell Sonny’s new business partners.
I don’t like being judgmental but I am really fed up with Nina sticking her nose in everyone else’s business. I know this is a soap opera but I understand and totally agree with Willow not being open to a relationship with her. Can she just take a permanent vacation out of Port Charles?
I understand why everyone wants Nina gone, but I feel bad for her now !! Now no yelling at me, yes what she did to Carly and family keeping Sonny away from them!! She was running from Port Charles for what she was going through!! Meeting up with Mike (Sonny) who was a completely different man they fell in love!! What you’ll do for love, but she’s paying for it from all ends!! Nina has tried to apologize to Carly, and Carly tore her to piece, along with everyone else!! Sonny stuck by her seeing something in Nina that no-one else has!! Now losing another daughter whose dying that won’t allow Nina to be in her life or her children’s WOW!! Yes, I would want to pay back anyone that was or is involved in agreeing with what’s happening to her!! I’m not fond of Nina wouldn’t miss her, but RIGHT NOW I feel for her and have to admit she’s quite the ACTRESS….
Agree with Gammalinda48.I happen to like Nina at this stage of the soap and so weird that Carly who has always been a bitch gets to be adored by all.She has done ten times worse things than Nina but that seems tobe ok.So tired of the Michael Willow storyline and kidnapped babies Can’t they have even one relationship that is downright trus as a role model for the rest?
Frankly, I like the character Nina. I think she’s less hypocritical than many of the other characters. Most of the characters are written with a hypocritical bent, and the character Nina usually self- reflects, and doubts herself because of the negativity coming from other characters, which many of the other characters do not do. The writers have created Nina to be a round characters, not one dimensional character.
Like her character or hate her character, I find her to be most likable. Other characters in this soap also get involved in other characters business (nosy busybodies) but the character Nina is vilified when she does what others blatantly do, and when they do it it’s okay. This proves a point in real life, when a person who us liked does something questionable, it’s okay, but when it’s someone who’s disliked, it’s an awful thing.
It is best to be objective when watching a soap rather than being subjective. It is a fictional work.
Anyway, the writers are doing their job by using the right words to sway the thoughts of viewers and condition viewers one way or another; plus, the actors must be doing a great job, if people are disapproving on how the actors portray the character.
Hate Carly, joss, Michael, willow anyone in that family. Such a group of hypocrites who judge everyone else while they are just as bad
