Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Could Evan Be Baby David’s Father?

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Evan Frears, (Brock Kelly) the “Manny” that Detective Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) hired to take care of his adopted son David Ridgeway (Caleb and Kyler Ends) may in fact be little David’s birth father!

Days viewers will recall that Jordan Ridgeway (Chrishell Stause) sent Detective Rafe Hernandez to California to retrieve her then five or six month old baby David, who she had a female friend caring for. Evan Frears also came from California, citing a bad relationship that he had to get out of.

Days of Our Lives viewers can easily imagine someone feeling a relationship with a person such as Jordan was to have been a bad relationship! Like Will Horton, (Chandler Massey) Evan could have been involved with Jordan before coming out or he could be bisexual, having romantic relationships with either men or women. It is a mystery why of all towns in the world he landed in Salem, Illinois – and why he took this nanny job with Rafe, of all people he could have worked for! Could it be that he was trying to track Jordan down and find his baby?

DOOL Spoilers: There Have Not Been Any Discussions Of David Ridgeway’s Mother Onscreen

There haven’t been any discussions of Jordan or who David’s mother was onscreen that we know of, unless this is something that happened during the one year time jump and has not yet been revealed. If he were indeed trying to track down Jordan, unless she went by a different name in California.

But, if then he found out that she had been in Salem but was dead, his son had to be somewhere! He may have found the job with Rafe as a nanny purely by coincidence and doesn’t even know David is his son. There are several different scenarios that could have happened, but there seem to be too many coincidences with Jordan’s story about leaving David with a female friend in California and a year and a half or so later Evan showing up from California and being David’s “manny”!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers:  Who Is David’s Birth Father?

The writers cannot have put him in place just to get on Kate Roberts’ (Lauren Koslow) nerves and break up Will and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) and to couple up with Sonny! So far, there has not been any discussion in the show of Rafe having tried to find David’s birth father – but that is probably because he is so attached to David and did not want to have to give him up.

We can assume that Rafe adopted Jordan’s baby since there were no living relatives that could have taken him, in any case, he definitely has permanent custody. Will we see Rafe and Evan fight over custody of David in the future, or will Evan just live with Rafe permanently so he can take care of his own child as his manny?
