General Hospital spoilers and updates tease in a new promo that Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will be frantic as she tries to stay in the safe house while watching tv. She panics as she watches George Pennacchio, interviewing Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) prior to the start of the Nurses’ Ball and hears about a hiccup with one of the acts.
General Hospital Spoilers – Munching On Popcorn, Sipping On Soda
Lucy’s watching tv in the safe house as George Pennacchio talks about the upcoming Nurses’ Ball for “On The Red Carpet”, an entertainment feature for the nightly news. He’s live at the Metro Court ballroom and talks about the start of the ball going live in just a few hours. He says adding to the significance of this ball, the first one in several years is that General Hospital will celebrate its sixtieth birthday, a can’t miss event.
Lucy stuffs popcorn in her mouth and grumbles that she’s missing this can’t miss event. He spots Maxie and introduces her as the co-chair of the Nurses’ Ball planning committee.
GH Spoilers – The Nurses’ Ball Is Dedicated To “The Late” Lucy Coe
George continues, and begins interviewing Maxie in earnest and asks her what it’s like, being part of this spectacular event. Maxie says, “Hi George”, and says it’s been an honor planning tonight’s festivities. She continues, noting that the Nurses’ Ball is known for philanthropy and entertainment, calling it a tribute to GH’s sixty years of caring for the community. She also says it will be talked about for years to come, and George asks her what it’s been like organizing it without the “late Lucy Coe”. He describes Lucy as the force behind the previous Nurses’ Balls and Maxie looks at the camera, saying she’s irreplaceable and this ball is dedicated to her.
General Hospital Spoilers – There In Spirit, But For How Long Only In Spirit?
General Hospital spoilers show Maxie continues to talk, saying she feels Lucy is there in spirit, as at the safe house she continues to frown and eat popcorn. Maxie says she feels like Lucy is directing her and her co-chair Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) to make Lucy proud. Then George notes there’s been some backstage buzz, and wonders what Lucy would make of the hiccup with one of tonight’s acts.
Hearing that, Lucy jumps up from her chair, drops her popcorn on the floor and shouts, “Hiccup? WHAT hiccup? Will she make this ball memorable by returning from the “dead” on live television?
