General Hospital Spoilers: Dante Deliberates Over Sinking Sonny’s Ship Or Help Him Float To Shore

General Hospital spoilers hint Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is going to struggle with figuring out what the right thing is to do when he’s facing the possibility of putting his own father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), behind bars.

When Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) starts throwing hints his way that would help Dante quickly build a case against Sonny, it’s going to take Dante by surprise. Of course, he won’t know where the information he’s receiving is coming from at first, but when he figures it out, it’s going to test his loyalty to the police force — and his loyalty to his father.

When Dante starts receiving information that would help him put his father away for the rest of his life, it’s not going to make much sense to him. Furthermore, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will advise him to proceed with caution since he has no idea who is sending him these alleged clues about his dad’s criminal enterprise. It’s not going to take Dante long to put the pieces of this puzzle together, though. He will come to realize Dex is behind the whole thing, and that he’s playing Sonny for a fool. The only question is, is Sonny really a fool fumbling around in the dark?

Dante is going to struggle with this decision. He’s always known the day might come when he would have to arrest his own father, but he never imagined he would be investigating him, entrapping him, or building a case against him behind his back. It looks like that may be the best way to see to it that Sonny’s empire crumbles for good, but that would have serious side effects for his entire family, and they’re innocent in all of this. If Sonny’s business is in shambles, his siblings and their mothers are all put at risk — including himself and his own mother, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero). On the other hand, Dante loves being a cop. It’s every bit as much a part of him as his father’s DNA. How can he turn his back on the force or his father?
