The Young And The Restless spoilers indicate that Summer Abbott (Allison Lanier) has been acting very strangely while preparing her mother’s memorial service. Summer insisted on doing everything herself excluding her brother, Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) from contributing anything but a picture. Even the location, the place where Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) collapsed was a strange choice for the service. Is Summer working with her mother on this scheme?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Summer Abbott’s Actions Are Alarming

The Young and The Restless spoilers reveal that Summer claims to be doing this to make up for dismissing Phyllis and not believing that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) was targeting her. However, Summer seems to be pointing out some of the same things that not only Phyllis has but Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) as well.

Summer has lashed out at Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) who simply wanted to support Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Summer singled out her brother as if to force him to speak even though she cut him out of the rest of the memorial. Summer completely acts like she is on a mission and doesn’t care what anyone else thinks about it.

Y&R spoilers – Phyllis Summers Is Missing From Her Hotel Room

Phyllis is missing from her room and she didn’t leave town as Stark had ordered. Stark is threatening Phyllis because he isn’t going to allow her to blow this for him making fans wonder if Phyllis is trying to take him down as well. Yes, Phyllis is attending her own memorial but is she just there being curious or is she looking for evidence?

Phyllis is hiding in plain sight at the moment and Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) just got evidence that Diane bought the poison. Summer even made sure to announce during the service that she believes everything that Phyllis said is true. Summer is literally baiting Diane while she is sitting there during the service.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Could Summer Abbott Be Sitting A Trap?

Summer almost seems to be covering something while alienating those closest to her. Could Summer be afraid of slipping out and letting the secret out if she doesn’t keep her family at arm’s length? Summer may be working to save Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) from himself and his mother. After all, Summer doesn’t trust Diane at all.

It only makes sense that Summer be in on this plan so that Phyllis has some sort of road to redemption. Will Phyllis’ loved ones ever forgive her for faking her death if she can take down Diane, Stark, and maybe even both of them in the end?
