Tom Sandoval paid attention to those rumors claiming that Raquel Leviss lied about checking into a mental health facility. And the Vanderpump Rules star quickly reacted to the claims that his girlfriend actually went to a luxurious resort instead. “Raquel is in a mental facility,” stated Sandoval via Us magazine. “Whether she decides to tell you where that is after the fact — that’s where Raquel is. No visitors, no friends, no family, no phone, no nothing.”

And Sandoval, 40, expressed anger about two co-stars who boosted those rumors. Peter Madrigal and Dayna Kathan alleged that Leviss, 28, had checked into a spa. But Tom insisted, “[They] have absolutely no idea what’s going on.” And the Vanderpump Rules star described his girlfriend as “doing great” with her treatment. 

Raquel decided to enter the mental health facility after news about her cheating scandal with Sandoval went viral. And the secret affair also earned sympathy for Tom’s girlfriend at the time, Ariana Madix. Ariana and Tom then split after nearly a decade together.

Vanderpump Rules Spoilers – Raquel Leviss Seeks ‘Better Mental Health’

But after news of the cheating scandal went public, Leviss apologized on Instagram to Madix. “I want to apologize for my actions and my choices foremost to Ariana, and to my friends and the fans so invested in our relationships. There is no excuse, I am not a victim,” she added. “And I must own my actions and I deeply regret hurting Ariana.” 

Leviss participated in the Vanderpump Rules season 10 reunion taping. However, she then entered rehab. But her spokesperson noted that the rehab did not involve any substance abuse issues. “Raquel and her family decided before the relationship was discovered that she would enter a voluntary facility for mental health counseling,” stated the rep. And she planned to enter the treatment prior to the Vanderpump Rules taping, according to the spokesperson.

“Raquel had planned to admit herself before the VPR reunion was taped on March 23. She was scheduled to go in pre-reunion,” clarified the rep. “But [she] decided she wanted to finish her filming commitment. Bravo and production were aware and in support of her journey towards better mental health.”

But some of her Vanderpump Rules co-stars questioned Raquel’s mental health facility. For instance, Madrigal claimed, “Not a mental facility! It’s a Spa Resort” on social media. And Kathan added, “She’s at a spa.” But an insider shared that Raquel did not check into a spa or resort. And the source asked those seeking to spread “misinformation and rumors” to “consider all of the people struggling with their mental health.”
