The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Summer Needs Help – Daniel Recognizes Phyllis Stunt?

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) is having a hard time convincing her brother that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is alive. He misinterpreted what she was saying, felt sorry for his sister, and eventually asked Summer if she killed Jeremy Stark (James Hyde).

Daniel’s perspective is changing since he had a chance to process Summer’s mind-altering story. She told him Phyllis came to her, said she faked her death and killed Jeremy.

Phyllis told Summer not to tell anyone, including Daniel. Summer could not keep that promise, with Daniel becoming part of a parallel storyline.

Even Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) believes Phyllis is dead. She is accused of poisoning her nemesis and believes Jeremy was involved in Phyllis’ demise.

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is off the rails because the woman he has fallen back in love with is in jail for killing the woman he loved more than any other and recently wanted to reunite with in Genoa City, Wisconsin.

Among others, Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc) feels in his gut that Diane is not guilty while mourning Phyllis’ loss. His wife, Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey Bregman), is at odds with him because she can not believe he is defending the woman who murdered their longtime friend.

Y&R Spoilers – Summer Newman Abbott Wants To Help

The writing staff has everyone, except Summer, involved in a storyline where Phyllis is dead. The inevitable outcome is that all will learn the truth, possibly in waves.

Summer wanted Phyllis to turn herself in to the Genoa City Police Department. She thought Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) could help her mother deal with all that happened.

But Phyllis believes killing Stark means she can never return to GC. Phyllis is a main character, with the trend implying she probably will be exposed as alive or announce her status before the spring ends.

Daniel has not known his mom as long as some of her friends or Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian). But he knows her in ways others, except for Summer, can not because he is her child.

Considering the above, Daniel will have to consider whether what Summer is trying to tell him is true. He knows Phyllis is capable of faking her death to frame Diane, and he should realize that defending her life by ending Jeremy’s was a self-defense act.

Summer needs her brother’s help. More importantly, Phyllis needs her firstborn’s guidance as she faces her latest crisis on Y&R.
