The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Wednesday, January 8, tease that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will make his view crystal clear to Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). He’ll get that Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), but he won’t think that’s the way things should be. Ridge will insist that Steffy belongs with Liam and that’s just all there is to it.

The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers – Steffy Forrester doesn’t want to compete with Hope Logan any longer

Steffy may admit she still loves Liam and wishes the situation was different. However, she might argue that she intends to respect boundaries. Steffy may feel like it’s not her place to intervene – and she would just end up competing with Hope forever anyway.

Even so, Ridge’s words will sink and set the stage for some manipulative advice from Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) later this week. Steffy may not think making a move is a good idea right now, but she’ll change her tune soon enough. In the meantime, Hope will react to Liam’s marriage proposal, which came with conditions.

B&B Spoilers – Can Hope Logan cut all ties with Thomas Forrester?

Liam wants Hope to cut all ties with Thomas, including their Forrester collaboration as well as their co-parenting agreement. Giving up a working relationship with Thomas is one thing, but giving up Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) is quite another. Despite Liam’s protests that Hope can still be in Douglas’ life, Hope won’t want to bail on the kid as his legal mother.

Liam will get frustrated with Hope, who he feels is still being manipulated by Thomas. He’ll think they’re going to keep going in circles as long as Thomas has this shared custody leverage. As for Thomas, he’ll hit the roof when he realizes what Liam’s pushing for. Thomas will find out the terms of Liam’s proposal and fly off the handle in Wednesday’s B&B episode.

The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers – There is a concern for Douglas Forrester

Naturally, the Douglas part will be what infuriates Thomas the most. For starters, Thomas knows Douglas helps him keep some form of a grip on Hope. There’ll also be some genuine concern for his son. Thomas is one messed up individual, but he cares about Douglas and wants him to have a mom he can rely on. He’ll be livid with Liam for trying to tear Hope and Douglas apart.
