General Hospital Spoilers reveal Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) has been bearing the brunt of everyone’s anger over the SEC investigation that is barreling toward Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). To be fair, if Ned were guilty, he may not admit it, but now that his wife is back on his side, he will do anything to keep her there. So when Ned found out Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) was the real culprit behind the SEC, he was eager to run back and tell his wife he had the information they had their sights set on.
Unfortunately, he was a bit too eager, weren’t you, Ned? Now, he’s laid up at GH in a coma after bonking his noggin’ poolside and being knocked unconscious. Rumor has it Ned won’t be out for long, but he may wake up with a fairly fuzzy memory of what happened just before he took that spill.
This begs the question: will he really suffer from memory loss, or will he use his injury to his advantage to entrap Nina while keeping everyone else — including Olivia — out of it? He could get Nina to walk away from the Metro Court Hotel, which could be handed back over to Carly. But he’s going to need a patsy — someone to act as his cover so that Olivia doesn’t suspect he’s up to something. Who is going to be willing to take that hit for Ned?
General Hospital Spoilers — Valentin Cassadine Isn’t Likely To
Ned and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) have come a long way since the days of thinking they were family, bonded by Valentin’s alleged shared child with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton). Valentin pulled through for Ned when he needed one more vote to prevent ELQ and Aurora Media from merging. Acting as allies has become second nature for them, but that doesn’t mean Valentin would be in Ned’s corner if he had Nina over a barrel. No way, no how.
GH Spoilers – Tease Like Father, Like Daughter
Brook Lynn would do anything for her father, and suffice it to say she wants to earn his trust and respect in any way she can, just in preparation for the next time she lets him down — which should be soon. Would she lie for her dear old dad and pretend she turned Drew and Carly in if it took the heat off of him long enough for him to stick to Nina?
Eh, maybe, but Brook Lynn is in a pretty tight spot right now. She’s already engaging in espionage for Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), and she’s got Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and his long list of morals to contend with.
General Hospital Spoilers — Mother Knows Best
Of course, Tracy would love to help her son out. Although she’s been playing right along and acting like she believed he was behind this dirty move against Drew and Carly, she wouldn’t hesitate to help Ned make sure Nina gets skewered in the process — as long as Drew and Carly still go down. Ouch! Will he be able to convince his mom that it’s best for everyone if Drew and Carly don’t pay for their alleged crimes? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead to find out.
