Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Wednesday, January 22, 2020, reveals Kristen Dimera (Stacy Haiduk) wants to talk with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) about the day their baby was born.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Kristen Realizes Something Is Wrong

Brady tries to walk away but Kristen stops him. Kristen begs Brady to talk about that day. Flashback to Mother’s Day, Kristen and Brady are at the hospital. Kristen is in labor and Brady tries to calm her. Kristen is in active labor and her doctor is delivering another baby at the moment. Kayla and Brady try to calm Kristen. Brady realizes he missed a call and goes to return it.

Haley helps get Kristen more comfortable and goes to get her doctor. Kristen says something is wrong and monitors start to go off as Haley comes back into the room. Brady waits in Kristen’s room for word from her and the baby. Brady tells Kristen the cord was around the baby’s neck. Kristen says her baby can’t die.

Haley says the day was great, she called her mom, mom, for the first time. J.J. tells Haley that Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) thinks she is great. J.J. tells Haley she keeps them going. Haley can’t believe how different Jack acts now. J.J. wants to ask Haley a question but gets called out to an accident scene.

Days of Our Lives’ Sonny Kiriakis (Freddy Smith) gets a text from Will Horton (Chandler Massey) that he wants to adopt another child. Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) joins Sonny. Sonny tells Justin how lucky he is to have him and Adrienne Kiriakis (Judy Evans) as parents. Justin tells Sonny what a great parent he is as well. Justin thanks Sonny for making Mother’s Day so special. Justin and Sonny try to figure out where Adrienne’s car is. Justin and Sonny plan to catch a game while waiting. Sonny tells Justin about the decision to have another child. Sonny can’t wait to tell his mom.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Will Tries To Help Adrienne

Days of Our Lives’ Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) calls Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and asks him to meet her at the hospital. Adrienne blows the horn as a car is coming at her in their lane. Will yells oh my god and swerves the car. Sarah’s phone goes dead as they crash. Xander yells into the phone but gets no response. Will calls for an ambulance and goes to the car. Adrienne wakes up and tells Will to help Sarah. Will tries to get Adrienne out of the car but she wants to stay with Sarah.

Will moves to help Sarah out of the seat belt that has her trapped. Adrienne passes out after getting out of the car. The ambulance arrives and J.J. assesses Adrienne’s condition. Adrienne needs to be transported immediately. Sarah asks if Will is ok and what he is doing there. Xander gets to Sarah and she tells him what happened. Xander realizes that Maggie caused that accident. Justin calls Adrienne’s phone, J.J. tells him to get to the hospital immediately. Will goes with Adrienne to the hospital.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Justin Gets Devastating News

Days of Our Lives’ Adrienne is taken into a trauma room at the hospital as Justin and Sonny arrive. Sonny and Justin talk while waiting to hear about Adrienne. Sonny thinks back to his wedding and Adrienne helping him. Sonny talks about how supportive Adrienne has been of his and Will’s relationship. Justin says nothing is more important to Adrienne than her boys.

Justin says he gets Adrienne’s attention for a minute or two. Justin agrees they are both madly in love with each other. Justin thinks back over his and Adrienne’s relationship. Justin has to find out what is going on and leaves. Will arrives thinking he caused the accident. Will tells Sonny he was there when the accident happened. Kayla tells Justin that Adrienne died. Justin is distraught and Kayla tries to comfort him.

Days of Our Lives’ Xander arrives to find Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) in another car. Xander finds an empty liquor bottle in the car. Xander demands to know where Sarah is. Maggie tells Xander that Sarah is with Adrienne. Xander calls Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) to come and get Maggie.

Xander plans to get Sarah to the hospital but she needs him to deliver the baby right now. Sarah tells Xander he’s going to have to deliver this baby. Sarah tells Xander she’s going to start pushing and he needs to catch the baby. Sarah asks Xander why the baby isn’t crying. Xander hands the baby to Sarah and she begins to cry.
