It’s a role that he’s been prepping for since the moment that he was born and just like his father King Charles, Prince William might have to wait a very long time for it.

It also means that the Prince of Wales has a lot of time to think about his future role as the King of England and whether or not he’s up for the challenge.

Ever since Queen Elizabeth passed away back in September 2022, Prince William has been doing everything he can to step it up with his workload and especially with his royal engagements and public outings.

The Prince of Wales knows that appearance is everything, and especially as a royal. But unfortunately he hasn’t been getting the kind of celebratory welcomes at his charity visits as he’s hoped for.

In fact, in some places he’s been downright ignored with very few people showing up to his engagements. As the future king of England, you’d think that there would be more people that would want to see him in the flesh. After all, he is a royal celebrity.

For Prince William, this is quite worrying. He doesn’t want to sink any lower than he has in the royal family’s popularity polls. There’s a very good chance that William might also be blaming his brother Prince Harry for the lack of public enthusiasm that he’s been getting.

All of the revelations that Harry made in his book, Spare, about his fights with his brother has hurt William more than anything else. No one wants to hear about how a man who will one day be king shoved his brother into a dog bowl on the kitchen floor during a nasty fight.

So, what can Prince William do to turn this all around? Unfortunately, many royal critics believe that William will just have to wait things out and see what’s in store for him and his future.
