A new, original movie is coming from Hallmark Channel in September starring Pascale Hutton and Ryan Paevey. The pair plays former college sweethearts unexpectedly reuniting; will this turn into love again? According to the official synopsis, there may be a romance replay between a woman and her former college sweetheart. He is a pro-football player sidelined by injury and she is a single mom.  Erin Allen (Pascal Hutton) is a single mother to her football-loving 12-year-old daughter, Kiera (Sophia Powers), who plays in the town’s junior flag football league.

While at Keira’s football practice, Erin runs into the coach’s brother and professional football player, Mike Hanson (Ryan Paevey). As they were formerly college sweethearts, Erin and Mike are blindsided. Mike is visiting his brother Jimmy (Dan Payne), while recovering from a football injury that diminishes his chances of achieving his dream of finally getting a championship ring.

When Jimmy gets the call to coach the high school team, Mike steps up as the flag football coach. As Erin and Mike spend time together, old sparks are rekindled despite Erin’s hesitance. Right before the championship game begins, Mike receives good news, but also an unsettling truth while Erin learns to go after what she wants; and they both learn to follow their hearts.

Pascale Hutton who plays Erin Allen is known for her role in When Calls the Heart and You Had Me at Aloha. Meanwhile, Ryan Paevey plays Mike Hanson and has previously starred in A Fabled Holiday and Two Tickets to Paradise. The role of Erin’s daughter, Kiera is played by Sophia Powers of Unexpected Grace fame.

According to the official IMDb page, Mike’s brother Jimmy is played by Dan Payne who previously starred in Outrunners. Moreover, Darlene Tait plays the role of Gertie and has previously starred in The Blessing Bracelet and more.
