Find out what to expect on the 100th episode of When Calls The Heart. And learn what Erin teased about the special. Get all the details below.
When Calls The Heart Celebrates 100th Episode
Hallmark gave fans what they wanted for all 10 seasons of When Calls The Heart. And the show’s star Erin Krakow promised that the 100th episode of When Calls The Heart will continue that tradition. However, Erin also teased that the milestone episode will offer something different as well, according to Good Housekeeping.
When Calls The Heart will feature “just a huge event in Hope Valley,” shared Krakow. And the actress described it as “a celebration of our community. And we get to see everyone enjoying a special new feature in Hope Valley,” added the actress.
However, while the celebration in Hope Valley will feature something different, Erin shared that the story line for the 100th episode, premiering August 6, will feel familiar.
And she reassured viewers accordingly. “It won’t feel like a departure from our story,” revealed the actress. “And it won’t feel like a departure from the way we typically tell stories.”
When Calls The Heart Season 10 Features ‘Real Drama’
The cast, producers, and writers all agreed that they wanted to honor the 100th episode without taking a detour from the rest of the season, according to Erin.
And she explained, “We didn’t want to divert at all from the stories that we were telling this season.” As a result, the actress promised that the milestone episode “will very much feel like a cohesive part of the rest of this season.”
And Erin also offered some teasers for the rest of season 10. For instance, prepare for her character Elizabeth Thatcher, her fiancé Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally) and other residents of Hope Valley to encounter some financial challenges. And the citizens also will make discoveries that could impact everyone.
“We have no shortage of interesting story lines in season 10, which is a real testament to our writers,” gushed Erin. “We’ve told a lot of stories over the years,” she noted. “But there’s still so much left to tell and they’ve done an incredible job crafting season 10. There’s real drama [and] sweet, funny moments with the kids. It’s just a very full, exciting season.”
