General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, January 30, tease that the various shootouts will continue in Brooklyn, at Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) coffee warehouse, and on the pier. On the pier, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will quickly realize that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) has been shot as Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson) comes upon the scene and chases away the gunman. Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will be shaken but grateful to Dustin for his heroics.
General Hospital Spoilers: Harrison Chase Issues Michael Corinthos A Warning
Laura will be carted off to the hospital, and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will question Josslyn, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), and Michael, to the point where Sasha finally gets fed up and tells Chase off, saying that he’s harassing Michael. Chase will then warn Michael, saying that it looks like he was the intended target, and that he and his family should let the cops handle it.
General Hospital Spoilers: Gladys Corbin Gets A Huge Shock When She Sees Her Presumed-Dead Son
Next on GH, at the coffee warehouse, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will shield herself from gunfire behind some bags of coffee. She’ll be with Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor), whom she assumes is one of Sonny’s guys. Brando will get shot trying to protect her, but later after the shootout is over, Carly will learn that Brando isn’t one of Sonny’s guys. Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) will then see Brando and be stunned to see her son.
Meanwhile, at the Brooklyn bar, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will trade fire with the gunman who’s trying to shoot Sonny. Sonny and a very scared Mike Corbin (Max Gail) will cower under an overturned table, while Jason and the gunman hold each other at gunpoint. Jason will refuse to put down his weapon even when the gunman takes the waitress hostage, and he’ll ultimately shoot the guy dead.
General Hospital Spoilers: Jason Morgan Lands In Legal Trouble Once Again
Next on GH, Jason will then be taken into the police station, even though the detective working the scene believes that Jason acted in self-defense. Ultimately, Sonny and Mike will be free to go, and Sonny will learn about the other shootings from the detective. He and Mike will head home, unable to go enroll Mike in the clinical trial.
Next on GH, Laura will come through surgery just fine at the hospital. Her family, including Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan), Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom), and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will all be there, very worried about her condition, but Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will report that she made it through surgery and will be ok.
General Hospital Spoilers: Hamilton Finn Confronts Nikolas Cassadine About Hayden Barnes’ Disappearance
Other General Hospital spoilers say that Finn will realize that Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) doesn’t yet know that Nikolas was responsible for Hayden Barnes’ (Rebecca Budig) disappearance. He’ll try to tell her about it, but Laura’s arrival at the hospital will interrupt them. He’ll then blast Nikolas for what he did to Hayden, saying that Violet Barnes (Jophielle Love) would like to have her mother back.

General Hospital Spoilers: Ava Jerome Extends An Olive Branch To Nina Reeves
Finally, on Wednesday’s new episode of General Hospital, Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will finish their kiss, only to be interrupted by Ava Jerome (Maura West), who will want to talk with Nina. Jax will leave after being called by Josslyn after the pier shooting, and Ava and Nina will chat. They’ll decide to go out for a drink sometime, as not-quite-friends but at least on good terms.
Their conversation will then be interrupted by Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), who will be out on bail and wanting Nina to know that he’s available. She’ll be chilly to him, and he’ll leave looking a bit dejected.
It looks like we’re in for a great episode on Thursday! Stay tuned to the ABC soap and don’t forget to check Celebrating The Soaps often for the latest General Hospital spoilers, updates, and news.
