Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that Gemma Winter brings up her past with Henry in hopes to save the Rovers Return.
Previously, Jenny Connor got a lot on her plate as the popular pub experiences a huge financial crisis. She tried many ways to save the social place; reducing the meal serving, increasing the prices of the menu, and promoting dart nights.
However, it seemed like her strategies didn’t work as the Rovers Return continued to go downhill.
In the upcoming scenes of the longest-running soap, the businesswoman tries to impress a well-known family as she desires to sell the place to them.
The Newtons are business people who successfully own a brewery company named Newton and Ridley. Hoping to encourage them, Jenny asks for help from Daisy and they organize an event showcasing the amazing voice of Glenda.

However, she ends up apologizing to the father and son, Philip and Henry, as Glenda backs out from the production due to a croaky voice.
Moreover, upon checking the accounts, Henry reveals that their company is yet ready to purchase the Rovers. The disappointed woman drops the news to Daisy while Steve and George talk about the crowdfunding page they have set up.
Meanwhile, George approaches Gemma and suggests trying to convince Henry in buying the pub given their romantic history together.
The woman then makes her way to a hotel to work on a cider promotion. However, she is stunned when Henry reveals that the promotion is not happening and that he just wants to spend some time with her.
On the other hand, George talks to Chesney and mentions Gemma’s plan to woo him into buying the social place. The man can’t believe his ears leading him to head over to the hotel to confront the former couple.
Will Henry be the villain in Gemma and Chesney’s marriage? Will Gemma successfully convince Henry to buy the Rovers Return?
