A source told Us Weekly that “William, Kate, and Charles are all still planning how they will commemorate the passing of the Queen …

On September 8 there will be an acknowledgement or event, [but] the details are still being ironed out.”

In her lifetime, Queen Elizabeth spent her own Ascension Days “privately at the Sandringham House, where her father King George VI died.”

According to the source, Charles will follow his mother’s example and spend the day with Queen Camilla.
