Prince Harry Set To Visit Germany Next Month As Royal Family Honors Queen’s Death

The rift between the Sussexes and the rest of the Royal Family has never been wider or more pronounced than it is right now.

As the royal family gathers for the one year anniversary of the Queen’s death, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be close by in Germany promoting the Invictus Games. Once they’re done with that, they’re heading home. Why? They weren’t invited.

Personally, I think it’s for the best. If they were it would have been a media circus of “will they won’t they” and since the news surrounding the beef is easing up, isn’t it better to let sleeping dogs, or in this case rumors, lie?

Anyway, I bet Harry’s memoir and the docuseries made it easier for the Royal Family to decide to have one solemn gathering that isn’t wrapped in any kind of drama.

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Will Travel To Germany To Participate In the Invictus Games Next Month

Next month, the royal family will gather to pay tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth, who passed away on September 8, 2022, at Balmoral Castle just a few days after welcoming her next Prime Minister, Liz Truss.

Prince William and Princess Catherine will reportedly be leading the service that will see many members of the Royal Family in attendance.

While this is happening in the UK, Harry and his wife will be in Germany promoting what Harry hopes will be “the best games ever.”

Ahead of the events, Harry shared a video message, revealing that he is feeling both excited and nervous waiting for the day to arrive.

He said: “I hope you are excited and probably a bit nervous. I’m both. But I can’t wait to see all of you and have the whole community together once again. It’s been too long.”

Praising the athletes for making the decision to join the games, he said, “You’re all on different parts of your healing journey.”

He then added: “We all are – we always will be.” Laughing, he added: “Good luck for the remaining few weeks, have fun, look forward to it. Being nervous is a good thing.

We have 21 nations this year and can’t wait to have every continent represented. Except Antarctica – but still working on that.”

Prince Harry Calls The Invictus Games “The Best Games Ever”

Continuing on, Harry thanked the servicemen and women taking part in the games for their commitment and determination, saying, “Thank you for your service, for your commitment, your determination in getting to this point. We are going to have a lot of fun and yeah, look forward to it. We’re ready to host you. It’s going to be the best games ever, the best games yet.”

Like last year, Harry and Meghan are expected to close out the games with an emotional speech.
