Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) was drawn to Adam. Their shared, reckless personality type helped forge a bond but eventually proved to drive them apart.

More recently, Sally realized that she was too hard on Adam after they lost their expected daughter, Ava Hope. So, expressed that sentiment to him and they have been getting along well in recent weeks.

But after taking a housewarming gift to his new condominium Sally was present when Nick explained Adam’s attempt to blackmail Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver). Sally was reminded why she broke from Adam.

Y&R Spoilers – Nick Newman Linked To Brother’s Soul Mate

Adam believes that Sally is his new soul mate. But after he left her and claimed to have never loved her, she refused to reconcile with him.

Nick is projected as the stable Newman brother and has proven to be that. Sally deepened her respect for Nick when he stood by her after Ava Hope’s paternity was determined.

Sally intends to stay with Nick and appears to be falling in love with him. But Adam is hoping that since the knot has not been tied, he still has a chance with her.

Adam believes Sally will eventually come to her senses and realize Nick is not the man she should spend the rest of her life with. The photographs she found in a box of books allowed Sally to peer more deeply into Adam’s mind.

Family squabbles seem likely to never end. So, Sally will remain embroiled in whatever Newman battles exist or will emerge in the future.

This is soap. So, while Sally and Nick are a current couple, their togetherness could end during any episode. Adam believes that will happen and intends to capitalize on that assumed inevitability on Y&R.
