General Hospital Spoilers: Anna Devane and Finn Split Over Peter August?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is still giving Peter August (Wes Ramsey) the benefit of the doubt, although she has found evidence that certainly makes her son (or nephew) look guilty.

She didn’t give the police this evidence even though it provided a direct link between Peter and the gunman who tried to kill Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) and Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) on General Hospital. And while it certainly isn’t a smoking gun, Finn feels that she is compromising herself by not coming forward.

General Hospital Spoilers: Finn is now a full time dad

Now that Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) has disappeared and gone into hiding, Finn is suddenly responsible for taking care of his daughter Violet Finn (Jophielle Love). If Peter is indeed guilty of the things Jason Morgan ((Steve Burton) has accused him of doing, he isn’t going to want his daughter around a man who might be a murderer.

General Hospital Spoilers: Anna will likely downplay any danger

And while it probably true that Peter isn’t a threat to Violet, Finn is brand new to parenting and he is likely to avoid any possible risks. According to General Hospital spoilers, Finn also doesn’t like the fact that Anna is compromising her own ethical code by not turning in the evidence she has gathered. This may be something that the two of them won’t be able to get past.

General Hospital Spoilers: Peter’s crimes should come out soon

Peter’s crimes will likely catch up to him soon, regardless of Anna’s role. But her colleagues, especially Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) will not be pleased, especially if someone else gets hurt before Peter is put away. Hopefully, Anna will come to her senses soon and Peter’s crimes will be uncovered. But how far will Anna go to protect him, before she realizes he is truly guilty?

General Hospital spoilers show that Anna still feels like Peter has never been given a fair chance to be a good person. He was raised by Cesar Faison (Anders Hove), who treated him cruelly and led his to become a criminal in the first place. Anna still doesn’t know for sure whether she is Peter’s mother or if her twin sister Alex Devane (Finola Hughes) is but Anna has made it clear regardless of biology that she will also think of Peter as hers. But if Peter is ever going to live a full and happy life, he has to take responsibility for his actions, instead of compounding them by committing even worse crimes.
