Meghan Markle Feels UK Doesn’t ‘Deserve’ Her, Seeks Film Role And Oscar

Royal family news and updates claim the United States does not realize the great gift that Meghan Markle bestowed on the nation by residing here.

Because according to a new report, the Duchess of Sussex feels that the U.K. isn’t worthy of her presence. And England doesn’t “deserve” Meghan, in her view.

Meghan Markle Will Not Honor London With Her Presence

The Duchess of Sussex feels that London doesn’t deserve her. And so Meghan Markle, 42, will not accompany her husband Prince Harry on his trip to the United Kingdom next month for the annual WellChild charity event.

But royal expert Tessa Dunlop shared via the Post that Markle’s absence “says a lot” about her emotions regarding Britain. 

However, the Duchess of Sussex does plan to join Prince Harry in Düsseldorf, Germany, for his Invictus Games just days after Harry visits his hometown.

“Apparently she is not gracing London with her presence,” Dunlop commented. But the royal expert noted, “A rare Sussex double act is being saved for Germany where the duchess will assist Harry with the closing ceremony.”

And Dunlop added a theory. “On this occasion, I suspect Meghan’s no-show in London says more about her antipathy towards Britain, than the couple’s relationship. We don’t deserve her, at least so she probably thinks.”

Meghan Markle Wants An Oscar

Meanwhile, the Duchess of Sussex has reportedly decided she deserves an Oscar. And a new report via the Post claims Meghan has immersed herself in meeting with some “big-name directors and producers.” Because Suits has become “such a hit in reruns, Meghan’s being told there’s a demand from fans to see her act again,” revealed an insider. 

And the source shared that the Duchess of Sussex feels thrilled. However, although she would like a new TV show role, Meghan has turned her focus on film.

And the insider explained, “Meghan really wants to sink her teeth into a dramatic film role. She thinks an Oscar would be in her future.”

Markle last appeared in the role of paralegal Rachel Zane on Suits. And in April, the Duchess of Sussex signed with WME CEO Ari Emanuel and his team.

But though Meghan has received numerous offers, she has not yet chosen a new acting role. And a source explained that Meghan has “gotten a bunch of offers over the last five years.”

But Markle “turned them down because she really was trying to embrace royal life,” added the insider. And then Meghan focused on forging “a new path behind the scenes in Hollywood with Harry. But now that’s all changed. With other opportunities drying up, she’s actively looking for roles and talking to some big-name directors and producers. Harry is 100 percent supportive of all of it. Acting is what Meghan knows and what she’s always loved.”
