Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers and Recap Wednesday February 5: Thomas And Quinn Commiserate, Steffy’s Guilty Conscience

The Wednesday, February 5, 2020, The Bold & the Beautiful opens with Eric Forrester (John McCook) begging his wife to make peace with Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang). Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) can’t stop thinking about spiking Brooke’s drink. Quinn reminds her husband that Brooke started the war by unfairly attacking their marriage.

Quinn was forced to strike back. Eric justifies Brooke’s behavior as caused by her marital strife and her impasse with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) over Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). Quinn says that Brooke’s problems don’t give her a free pass to slap Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) or to demand that Eric dump Quinn. Eric asks his wife to be the better person.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers – Liam And Wyatt Compare Notes On Thomas

Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and his brother finalize a business deal that will make their father very happy and rich. Liam gets a text from Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) asking when he wants to visit their daughter. Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) is disappointed in his brother for kissing Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) right after he asked Hope to marry him. Liam holds Thomas responsible for everything that’s happening between him and Hope. The brothers fear that Thomas will take advantage of Liam’s separation from Hope. Liam believes that Thomas is using Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) and will dump her when he doesn’t need her anymore.

Hope brings her mother a water, but Brooke would prefer something stronger. She can’t stop staring at the bar beside her desk. Steffy walks in on their conversation. Brooke blasts Steffy for kissing Liam after he proposed to Hope. She asks Steffy to restrain herself and stop causing problems. When she’s done with Steffy, Brooke unleashes her venom on Liam for cheating on Hope. She demands that Liam move out of Steffy’s and reunite with Hope.

Brooke tries to place the blame for the kiss on Thomas, but Liam takes responsibility for causing Hope misery. Brooke worries that the separation opens the door for Thomas to move in on Hope. She begs Liam not to let that happen.

Thomas eavesdrops on Eric and Quinn’s disagreement about Brooke. When Eric leaves, Quinn fills Thomas in on Brooke’s shenanigans: slapping Shauna and turning Eric against Quinn. Thomas believes that his wicked stepmother has met her match in Quinn. He suspects that Quinn is up to something. Quinn guiltily admits that she spiked Brooke’s juice. Thomas wonders why Quinn self-sabotaged and turned from saint to sinner all of a sudden. Quinn says that something about Brooke brings out the worst in her. Thomas says that Quinn went too far in lacing Brooke’s drink. Quinn calls Thomas on his hypocrisy.

Thomas doesn’t want Brooke to be a drunken mess again because Ridge would play her knight-in-shining-armor and ride to her rescue. Thomas proposes to team up with Quinn against Brooke. Thomas gleefully informs Quinn that Liam and Hope broke up and Liam is living with Steffy. Quinn realizes that Thomas hasn’t given up on his obsession with Hope. Thomas admits that Zoe is just a distraction: Hope is the only woman he wants. He will make it happen, whatever it takes.

Hope tells Steffy that she wants to get along with her professionally, but she is still hurt and in shock personally from seeing the kiss between Steffy and Liam. Steffy tells Hope that Kelly Spencer (Zoe Pennington) is so happy having her daddy home. Steffy is plagued by guilt over the staged kiss. Thomas freaks as Steffy threatens to reveal the truth.
