There’s a new report that says Meghan Markle is supposedly playing a game of tug-of-war with her father-in-law, King Charles.
Even though she never wants to step foot in the UK again, she still wants to keep her royal title, if that makes sense. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
Meghan Markle Is Playing Tug-Of-War With King Charles
Speaking to GB News in a new interview, royal author and expert Angela Levin, who is a harsh critic of both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, says that the Duchess of Sussex is basically clinging on to her royal title as she refuses to let go of it. She hasn’t been a working member of the royal family for three years now.
It was earlier reported that Meghan was thinking about replacing Dianne Fienstein as the new senator of California but now that Laphonza Butler has the position, Meghan is backing away. But according to Levin, she doesn’t think the former Hollywood actress wanted the job anyway.
That’s because if she becomes a politician, she would have to let go of her royal title and that’s the last thing Meghan is going to do right now.
Levin put it this way, “I mean, I think her PR team at any opportunity want to bring her to the front pages, and they’ll say anything to keep her within the sort of talking point by everybody.
She could never really become a member of the cabinet, because when she went to America, she made all the children aged 7 and all the teachers there sign that they wouldn’t say anything nasty or rude or negative about her book.”
Meghan Wants To Keep Her Royal Title
Levin continued, “So I think that if she’s doing that, she won’t want anyone to speak about her. She wants to cling on to her titles and you have to drop your titles if you want to do anything politically for America.”
So far Meghan Markle herself has not made any comments about the criticism, nor has she said anything about the title debate, either.
Whether or not King Charles ever takes away her title remains to be seen but for not it seems very unlikely. Watch this space as we have a feeling there is much more royal drama to come.

What would the queen have done She would have stripped MM of her title because she keeps playing games with her family. The Queen would have put up with no crap whatsoever Us women know MM is a spoiled brat and will not be happy unless she gets her way. I understand William misses his brother but Kate has her point also Kate is a woman and sees right thru MM and sees just what a joke she is and how evil she is She is correct in wanting nothing to do with her as she is there to protect the entire royal family also When a woman can see just h ow evil another is, her job is to cut her off at the head and that is what Kate will do. She is very strong and learned so much from the Queen and I totally support her feelings of the situation MM will never change and will just seek more power as she flushed whatever power she may have had down the toilet
