Sarah Ferguson is mourning a very close ‘Friend.’ The actress took to her Twitter account to honor Matthew Perry, who died on Saturday.
As many fans can recall, Sarah made a cameo during a very special “Friends” episode in which the gang went to London. Here’s what you need to know.

Sharing several throwback photos of herself with the Friends cast, and of course, Matthew Perry, Sarah wrote, “I remember being thrilled to have met a natural talent, comedian and brilliant actor. It is a tragedy to lose you so early in life, rest in peace dear Matthew … you have given so much joy and laughter to so many.”
According to TMZ, law enforcement told the site that Matthew Perry was found unresponsive in his Los Angeles home. Sources say that the actor had drowned.
First-responders rushed to the scene when a call was made that said someone had a cardiac arrest. As of press time, the details surrounding Matthew Perry’s death still remain unclear. The actor was reportedly found in his jacuzzi.

Back in 2022, Matthew opened up about his life like he never did before. He talked about his drug use and how he also felt as though the time was right for him to settle down and have a family. He also said, “When I’m carrying weight, it’s alcohol. When I’m skinny, it’s pills.”
Perry’s last public outing was back on October 28th. The actor looked like he was having a relaxed dinner with a friend in Los Angeles. In his last interview, Matthew shared his best advice for his fans.
He said, “There’s a very famous line that people don’t change. I happen to know that people do change and I see that every day. I see people getting better. I see the lights in their eyes come on and they get through the terrible part of addiction and the detox and they’re able to live a normal life as long as they do a certain amount of work every day.”
