Tammy Slaton took time for in-depth reflection this month. And even as others in the 1000-Lb Sisters star’s family prepared for the winter holidays, Tammy shared her emotions over the loss of her late husband Caleb Willingham. Caleb died in July at age 40, per People.
But the 1000-Lb Sisters star also reassured her fans in her emotional TikTok post. And Tammy revealed that she misses her late husband “every day. I will always love him,” she added. However, the 1000-Lb Sisters star took time to tell her fans, “Things will get better.”
And four months after Caleb’s death, Tammy recalled her time with her late husband. The 1000-Lb Sisters star, 37, posted a pic of his urn, featuring a sunset image. And Tammy put it on a table in her house with their wedding photo.

But Tammy told her fans that the sunset on her late husband’s urn meant something special to both of them. And the 1000-Lb Sisters star revealed, “The sunset was our thing. We would sit outside all afternoon until the sunset in this picture on Caleb’s urn.”
And Tammy also chose the song Love Is Gone to symbolize her emotions. After posting a pic of a butterfly released at Caleb’s memorial service, the 1000-Lb Sisters star admitted how much she misses him.
And Tammy shared, “Even though I’m not in love with him, I will always love him.” But she confessed that she misses her late husband on a daily basis. However, the reality TV star shared her hope that she will feel better in the future.
And after Caleb’s death, Tammy called him her “best friend and I loved him dearly. When I met Caleb he became my guardian angel and now he really is watching over me. Our families appreciate everyone’s sympathy and ask that you respect our privacy at this time,” she added.
The 1000-Lb Sisters star met Willingham at Windsor Lane Rehabilitation Center in Gibsonburg, Ohio, in 2022. And Tammy spent time there for help with her weight loss prior to surgery. However, Caleb went there to get guidance with his own obesity.
But while at the facility, Willingham proposed. And the two tied the knot just a month later. 1000-Lb Sisters followed their engagement and their wedding. And after Caleb’s death, TLC shared, “We are deeply saddened to learn of Caleb Willingham’s passing. Our condolences go out to Tammy, his family and friends at this difficult time.”
