1000-Lb Sisters Spoilers – Tammy Slaton Comes Home From Rehab

Tammy Slaton spent more than a year in a rehab facility to help her finally lose weight. And the new season of 1000-Lb Sisters shows what happens when the reality TV star returns home. But spoilers via People reveal Tammy facing two major challenges.

First, Tammy’s husband Caleb Willingham struggles with his own weight loss at rehab. And second, the 1000-Lb Sisters star’s sister Amy faces problems with her marriage to Michael Halterman.

But despite those problems, Tammy feels proud of her weight loss success. And she reveals, “I lost 300 lbs. And I’m ready to conquer the world.”

However, the 1000-Lb Sisters star does feel bad about leaving without Caleb, who did not receive approval for release from Windsor Lane Rehabilitation Center in Gibsonburg, Ohio. The two met there and then tied the knot.

1000-Lb Sisters Spoilers – Weight Loss Becomes Family Affair

Tammy and Amy enjoy some laughs together. For instance, as they try to open a jar of pickles, Tammy jokes, “You got two children. I thought you knew how to handle a pickle.” And Amy teases, “I’m used to the bigger pickles.” The sisters laugh as Tammy shares that Amy’s “been around a lot of pickles.”

Meanwhile, weight loss becomes a family affair. And half-siblings Amanda and Misty reveal they hope to undergo weight loss surgery. Tammy successfully lost weight after the procedure in 2022. And Amy underwent weight loss surgery in 2020. 

However, despite the humor, Amy faces chaos with her marriage problems and sons Gage Dean, 3, and Glenn Allen, 1. And Amy reveals, “I am very overwhelmed, stressed-out, and Michael ain’t doing s—. Every aspect of my life is chaotic because I have no support.”

1000-Lb Sisters Spoilers – Amy And Tammy Both Struggle

But Amy does try to tell her family members about her struggles. And she describes herself as feeling “exhausted all the time. Because I’m trying to take care of two boys and take care of the house,” she points out. “I feel like I’m at my breaking point.”

However, drama ensues with a confrontation. And it begins with Amanda confronting Michael. But when he refuses to give Amy her debit card, Amy wants him to leave. And as Misty tries to help, Tammy calls the police.

Meanwhile, Tammy’s husband struggles with his weight. And he has started regaining some of the weight he lost at 537 pounds. As a result, Tammy feels troubled.

“It bothers me that he’s backsliding,” Tammy says. “I don’t know if he has the strength to do this on his own.” And tragically, Willingham died just months later in July. Tammy described him as her “best friend and I loved him dearly.” The new season premieres on Tuesday, Dec. 12 at 9 pm ET/PT.
