DOOL spoilers for Thursday, December 21 reveal that Paulina has been dealing with some health issues. Paulina is getting older, so she really should get things checked out.

However, it’s close to the holidays and with Lani Price-Grant’s (Sal Stowers) prison release having a delay, Paulina likely doesn’t want to burden anyone with her health issues.

Paulina might even assume it’s just stress. After all, this has been quite a wild year for Paulina and Abe Carver (James Reynolds) as well as Lani, Eli Grant (Lamon Archey), and Chanel.

DOOL Spoilers – Chanel Dupree’s Concern

Chanel asked her mother if everything was all right while getting ready for her date with Johnny. Paulina brushed off Chanel’s concerns.

Even Abe noticed that Paulina wasn’t her usual, bubbly, energetic self. Paulina didn’t open up to Abe about what was really going on, though.

In Thursday’s episode, expect Chanel to get even more worried about her mother. While in Horton Town Square, a photo shows Paulina holding her hand to her chest and throat area.

Chanel’s body language and facial expression suggests she’s panicking over her mother’s health condition.

Even though Holly knows that Johnny is now her stepbrother, is way too old for her, and isn’t even interested, she’s not giving up. For some ungodly reason, Holly is still determined to ruin Johnny and Chanel’s romance.

With Paulina’s health crisis, she will reach out to Johnny. There is no way that Johnny would allow Chanel to deal with Paulina’s crumbling health all alone.

However, Holly could end up faking her own health crisis just to get Johnny to stay with her, though.
