Kim Kardashian Accused Of RIPPING OFF Another Designer’s Outfit For SKIMS Brand

Kardashian fans are not letting Kim off that easy after spotting a clear detail that proves she copied a popular designer Agent Provocateur’s outfit.

On Tuesday, the SKIMS brand page took to Instagram to promote their latest design for New Year’s Eve. Her post reads: “JUST LAUNCHED: THE NEW YEAR EVE SHOP. A special NYE starts with SKIMS! Our dedicated shopping experience is open with 4 new, glamorous collections: Silk, Fits Everybody Wrap, Stretch Lace, and SKIMS Jacquard.” She went on to add, “@KimKardashian wears the Silk Strappy Long Slip Dress, size XS, in Topaz.” She ended her post with “Video @donnatrope.”

One of the outfits Kim wore was a yellow floor-length silk dress with several cutouts around the midsection. Eagle-eyed fans were quick to spot that they’ve seen a similar design by Agent Provocateur, and went on to mention celebrities that rocked that particular design by Agent Provocateur in the past.

Taking to Reddit, an angry fan wrote, “Looks like KK’s taken ‘inspiration’ from another more established designer again.” The critic went on to namedrop a star from “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” who wore the outfit to 2021’s People Choice Awards.

“Dorit Kemsley wore this vintage Agent Provocateur dress to the People’s Choice Awards in 2021. I believe Xtina also wore it in a video. It’s like they’re not even trying to make the stuff they’re shilling look any different from the stuff they’re paying ‘homage’ to anymore. I’d have thought, given past heat they got, they’d at least make some effort,” said the poster.

Someone wrote in the comments section, “It’s literally the same design,” and another slammed, “Such a rip off!” Meanwhile, it was pointed out that while Agent Provocateur’s design came in just one color, SKIMS’s design came in two colors, yellow and black.

But then, this is not the first time Kim has been accused of stealing other designers’ looks. The “SKKN By Kim” founder came under fire after the Met Gala for stealing Gert-Johan Coetzee’s look for her Met Gala outfit.
