General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Corinthos — Once A Cheater, Always A Cheater?

General Hospital spoilers reveal Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is quite the casanova. He’s probably bed more women than anyone else in Port Charles — and that’s saying something since he’s usually married.

Sonny has never been a big fan of being single. Loneliness is not his friend. Always preferring the company of a woman, he’s met some of his greatest loves through affairs — including his current wife, Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros).

Now that Sonny is continuing to make strides toward a deeper connection with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), and now that Anna’s relationship with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) just crashed and burned, fans are beginning to wonder if Sonny’s marriage to Nina will end in a similar fashion to his last marriage to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).

From his days running a strip club, to his restaurant and coffee business today as a grandfather, Sonny has had his fair share of lovers — and many of those trysts were never supposed to happen.

When Sonny is unhappy or not having his needs met, he will do whatever he deems necessary to scratch that itch. Sometimes, he’s even cheated purely for revenge.

From Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), to Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), to Reese Marshall (Kari Wuhrer), Sonny has bed some of Carly’s closest friends and worst enemies — all while he was supposed to be devoted to her — and he hasn’t even been as loyal to any other woman he’s ever been with as he was to Carly.

GH Spoilers – Hint Anna Devane May Be A Bump In The Road

Sonny is going to find out the truth about what Nina has been up to soon, and it may leave them on the outs. Licking his wounds won’t be nearly as fun alone as it will be with a companion who knows how he feels.

Anna was recently betrayed by the love of her life, too. Will commiserating turn into more for these two? The irony won’t be lost on Nina when Sonny says he needs space to figure out where they go from here — and then finds that space in bed next to Anna.

Somehow, we’re still expecting that Nina will be willing to forgive the don for his affair — as long as he takes her back. Yes, Nina really is that desperate.

General Hospital Spoilers — It’s Always Been Carly Spencer

In the end, the fans seem to agree that Sonny is going to wing up back with Carly, but that doesn’t mean it’ll happen while Nina is still in the picture at all. No, that’s what Anna is for.

Carly is still happy with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) right now, though that will surely change once Sonny is on the market again. Of course, she’ll have to act quickly since he clearly can’t keep himself on ice for very long once single again.
