Tom Brady’s recent cryptic social media post about cheaters sparked rumors about his ex-wife Gisele Bundchen. But there was nothing cryptic in the NFL legend’s new Instagram, which shared Brady’s heartbreak over his beloved dog’s death.
And just two days before Christmas, Tom mourned the loss of his pup Lua. However, one of Brady’s fans then added to the sentimental mood by revealing how the retired athlete regularly volunteers at the animal shelter quietly bottle-feeding kittens and comforting abandoned pets with his kids. Get all the details below, including how Tom’s ex-wife Gisele Bundchen reacted.
Tom Brady – Shares Heartbreak Over Dog’s Death
Our pets become members of our families. And for Tom Brady, the loss of his beloved dog Lua feels like a death in the family.
But as the NFL star revealed on Instagram via pics of his children, the entire family mourned the loss of their dog just two days before Christmas, per the Daily Mail.
And Brady wrote in his tribute to Lua that the dog remains “forever in our hearts.” As the photos of his children cuddling their pup revealed, everyone in the family adored Lua. “We love you Lua,” summed up Tom.
However, the NFL legend, 46, adopted the family’s dog prior to his ex-wife Gisele Bundchen divorcing him in late 2022. And apparently someone notified the supermodel. Becuase Gisele shared her own tribute to the dog, writing, “Our little Lulu, our guardian angel is gone to heaven. She will forever live in our hearts. We already miss her so much much #unconditionallove RIP Lua.”
Tom Brady Volunteers At Animal Shelter
And although Tom doesn’t publicize it, the NFL star has become known for his work volunteering at animal shelters. For instance, an employee at an animal shelter in Florida posted a photo of Brady, his son Ben and his daughter Vivien on social media.
And the shelter worker wrote, “I guess I’ll chime in with my Tom Brady story. But it’s not the one about 7 Super Bowls or being down 28-3 or his last pass as a Patriot. We all know those,” pointed out the animal shelter employee on Instagram.
And instead, the shelter worker described Brady as “the dad who volunteered at the animal shelter with his kids throughout an entire football season. The one where he bonded with his kids over naming puppies and bottle feeding kittens.” Reflecting on how the NFL legend never publicized his volunteer work, the shelter employee added that Tom quietly “showed up every other week to make a difference for his family and his community.”
