Since Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) claimed she wasn’t looking for a serious relationship with him, Summer might swoop in for ‘the kill’ only for it to backfire!

Coached and pushed by her mother, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) to vie with her own former rival Sharon for her current squeeze, Chance, Summer asked Sharon if they were serious.

Sharon could see a mile away how badly Summer is crushing on Chance, and perhaps Sharon felt a little insecure when she asked him if he would date Summer.

Using extra tickets to take her to a concert of a band they both liked was one thing, but actual dating is quite another, so Sharon was curious.

Sharon meant if he and she weren’t dating of course, but her hypothetical questions seemed to confuse him.

Then, Sharon had a dream about her life which seemed to make a decision for her-and she broke up with Chance, so the situation for Summer has changed.

Chance honestly wasn’t sure what he would do, but Sharon’s breakup with him left him kind of thrown-in the meantime, Summer will no doubt find out about the breakup.

Then Summer will find out for herself, but when she asks him out it might backfire-Chance hadn’t revealed his true feelings for Sharon, not even to Sharon!

It’s totally understandable that given the intensity and speed of his romance with Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Claire Ordway) and how badly he was burned, he might want to go really slow!

Then again, absence does make the heart grow fonder and knowing he’s lost Sharon might make him realize how strong his feelings for her really are.

Chance might even feel Summer’s very obvious crush was a factor in Sharon’s breaking up with him and resent her just a little bit.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Chance Chancellor Could See Marriage To Sharon Rosales Ahead

Chance did admit he could see a future with Sharon, falling in love and getting married even if he was looking down the road a bit.

Chance could push Summer away, licking his wounds, and even though he knows Summer’s not a teenager, he is a good bit older-closer to Sharon’s age than hers.

Summer could easily come on too strong and although Chance may not want to hurt her feelings, he could grow distant.

He may just opt to tell both Summer and Sharon the truth about his feelings for Sharon, even if he is a little insecure with Sharon. He may feel that honesty is really the best policy in matters like this.
