Y&R spoilers for Friday, January 12 reveal that Nikki was determined to stay sober and went to AA meetings. Nikki even had a chat with her sponsor, Seth (Brian Gaskill).

However, Nikki’s stance to get sober hit a roadblock after overhearing Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) making a request of Victor.

As fans recall, Victoria asked Victor to let her borrow the company jet. Victoria and Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) want to escort Claire to Oregon to confront a jailed Jordan.

Afterward, Nikki got drunk and ran into Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman). Lauren helped Nikki out, but it put her in a difficult position.

As for Victor, he will be determined to protect Nikki at all costs. Victor knows that Nikki is struggling. However, Nikki is trying to be brave all on her own when she doesn’t have to be.
