General Hospital Spoilers: Inside Kelly Thiebaud’s Return as Britt Westbourne

General Hospital spoilers brought us the exciting news that Britt Westmore (Kelly Thiebaud) is returning to Port Charles. Well, it might not be too exciting for some Port Charles residents as Thiebaud brings her Dr. Wicked Witch of Westmore character back to PC. We all still remember the trouble and drama she racked up when she was last in town.

She apparently reformed though…hmmm? General Hospital spoilers revealed that GH executive producer Frank Valentini had reached out to Thiebaud personally at the beginning of this year about her possible return. Thiebaud, of course, jumped at the chance, stating she loves her GH fans.

As we know, Kelly played the troublesome Dr. Britt Westbourne from 2012 to 2014 with her last reappearance being in 2018. How will she fit into the current storylines? We can’t wait to find out what the General Hospital writers have conjured up.

General Hospital Spoilers – Liesl Obrecht To Face New Trouble

Lucky for us we found out General Hospital spoilers hinted that it could, of course, be tied into mommy dearest Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) storyline. We know spoilers indicate Obrecht will be facing some new trouble in the form of Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Oh, yeah! Let’s not forget Peter is her half-brother!

Oh! The juicy storyline we could get from that news! Both of their fathers are Faison (Anders Hove) of course! On the other hand, there is her best friend forever Brad Cooper (Parry Shen). Could Britt’s return be tied to Brad’s storyline? When Britt was last in town, Brad told Britt about the baby switch.

So, she knows what Brad and Nelle did. We know Nelle got set free so could Britt be the key to bring Nelle down for good? We also should not forget Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Colma) is back. Britt and Nikolas have tied together once and last time she was in Port Charles it was believed Nikolas was dead. In a long stretch, don’t forget Britt’s tie to the Nina Reeves’ storyline. Could Britt’s presence be implemented to tie up that storyline?

GH Spoilers – Britt Westmore Returns For Short Term

However, she fits in we know from General Hospital spoilers that filming has begun. Sadly, though it is reported that it will not be long term again hinting that she might be employed to tie up some storylines. GH fans are happy anyway seeing their sassy fave character of Britt Westmore return. We always know we are in for a treat when Thiebaud is on the screen.
