Prince Harry Reportedly Considering Further Legal Action Against The Mirror If His Demands Aren’t Met

Prince Harry’s lawyers are reportedly seeking millions in compensation for leading him to victory against Mirror Group Newspapers, and to pay them off Harry is insisting The Mirror pay more in settlement. If not, he’s ready to push the button to keep the case going.

Prince Harry Wants To Bring Second Legal Action Against Mirror Group Newspapers

Prince Harry is prepared to head back to the witness box, if it means he gets to squeeze more money out of Mirror Group Newspapers.

Sources close to the Duke say he wants a court case restarted as soon as possible if the Mirror publishers don’t comply with his financial demands.

As of right now, only a quarter of Harry’s case has been decided. Harry sued the newspaper group over 148 articles with information he claimed were obtained illegally.

After a judge found that 15 out of 33 of the select articles were obtained from phone hacking or unlawful information gathering, the newspaper was ordered to pay him £140,600 in damages.

For this, Harry hailed himself as a “dragon slayer” in December and promised to continue pushing forward with his fight against tabloid papers.

However, a few weeks ago, Harry backed down in his fight against ANL, which he brought on over an article he claimed was defamatory and untrue.

Nevertheless, when his hacking case returned to court on Monday, it was revealed that no agreement had been made concerning potential damages for the outstanding 115 stories comprising his claim.

Prince Harry’s Attorney Reveals Duke Is Prepared To Return To Witness Box

Harry’s barrister, David Sherborne, recently revealed that his client is prepared to settle everything out of court if his demands are met. If not, he’ll happily be returning to the Witness box.

“Although the Duke is certainly prepared to attempt to resolve the remainder of his claim through agreement, it is necessary to list of the trial of the remainder of his claim as soon as is practicable, in order that his claim, which was issued almost four-and-a-half years ago in September 2019, may be fully determined if agreement is not reached,” he said.

Depending on the number of witnesses called by MGN, a further trial could take up to ten days.
