Every time that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) think it will be smooth sailing from here on out, someone comes along to put a damper on their plans.

From Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) getting in Hope’s head about Thomas’s past to John ‘Finn’ Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) vowing to protect Hope when she doesn’t need protecting, nobody seems to want these two to be together.

Count Xander Avant (Adain Bradley) into the mix once again because it turns out that he just won’t leave well enough alone. Hope now knows what really happened the night Emma Barber (Nia Sioux) died and believes that Thomas did not kill her. Too bad Xander does not believe the same and refuses to just leave well enough alone. That can only spell trouble ahead.

Either Xander is convinced that Thomas really is a cold-blooded killer or he’s being paid to believe and say that. Hope, Thomas, and the audience think he is gone and was only there to get the truth out about what happened when Emma drove off the cliff, but expect him back for February sweeps after Eric’s grand soiree is over and done.

It couldn’t be all fun and games for Thope and now they have to beat a murder accusation. Will the situation turn dangerous as Xander seems to go off the rails?

Will Thomas somehow get hurt prompting Hope to finally tell him that she loves him? Thope fans would certainly be happy about that outcome.

Something tragic and life-changing is bound to happen as Xander tries to draw Finn further into his revenge web, but will Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) even allow her husband to become involved or will she convince him that the one thing her brother is not is a cold-blooded killer?

If it turns out that Xander is working with someone to make some cool cash, the plot will thicken and change Forrester lives forever.
