King Charles and Prince William desperately need their ‘Spare Prince’ right now. At least, that’s what many royal critics on social media believe as the King of England’s plan for a ‘slim downed monarchy’ is not working in anyone’s favor right now. It was announced this week that King Charles is battling a form of cancer. Meanwhile, Kate Middleton is at home recovering from her abdominal surgery.
With two senior members out of the royal spotlight, there’s heavy speculation that both King Charles and Prince William are hoping that Prince Harry can step in and give the royals the helping hand they need right now.
It would definitely be a start to their long road towards royal reconciliation. At least, that’s what some people are hoping for.
Of course, many royal fans and critics have promptly taken to X (formerly Twitter) to comment on the matter. Some shared their thoughts with, “King Charles has cancer. Kate is out of commision from her surgery. Prince William will be busy running back and forth between the two of them.
A spare Prince would sure come in handy right about now.Maybe y’all should have been nicer to his wife,” along with, “Thank you for saying what all kind, decent, thoughtful, caring, good people are saying. Monarchy sure could utilize a friendly, brilliant, caring, giving member, whose father happens to be King. IF only they all were better to him + his amazing wife + their 2 children. If only.”

And then there was this comment as well: “They have Camilla, Sophie, Edward, Princess Anne etc. Nobody needs the useless spare. He’s not even longer in a position to act on the King’s behalf. They are respected, respectful & not bitter ex-spares. They will do just fine & H can whine about it. You know he will. It’s what H does. And his wife.”
So far Buckingham Palace has made no further comments about the matter.

You must be out of your mind. King Charles and Prince William, and all of UK need harry like a bullet to the brain. Harry has proven to be a jealous, vindictive traitor to his country and the people, and most of all to his family.
Harry and meghan need to disappear back into the snake-pit they emerge from.
King Charles and Prince William are doing great, and will continue to do great. They are amazing human beings and leaders. The people of UK love them.
Just because they don’t stoop down to the trash level of harry and meghan and retaliate does not mean that they are weak.
