Demi Moore Joins Billy Bob Thornton In New Taylor Sheridan Show Landman

The latest series from Yellowstone creator, Taylor Sheridan will have an all-star cast as Hollywood actress, Demi Moore joins Billy Bob Thornton on Landman. The Paramount+ series Landman is already in production in Texas. It will tell the story of the oil boom in West Texas and is described as “a modern-day tale of fortune-seeking in the world of oil rigs.”

In recent years, Yellowstone boss, Taylor Sheridan, has boasted many iconic Hollywood actors in his several series. In the latest, Landman, Billy Bob Thornton is famously starring, who also starred in the Yellowstone prequel 1883. Now, Ghost star, Demi Moore is joining Thornton in the cast of the new show.
Landman is set in the iconic boomtowns of West Texas and will offer “an upstairs/downstairs story of roughnecks and wildcat billionaires fueling a boom so big, it’s reshaping our climate, our economy and our geopolitics.”
Meanwhile, Moore, who has just starred in FEUD: Capote vs. the Swans will pay the role of Cami, the wife of one of the most powerful oilmen in Texas. According to Deadline, Cami is also a friend of Thornton’s character, Tommy Norris.
Speaking on the new recruit for Landman, Chris McCarthy, President and CEO of Showtime/MTV Entertainment Studios, said:
Demi Moore is an iconic and extraordinary talent. We are thrilled to have her join Billy Bob Thornton and the star-studded cast of Landman, our next epic series from Taylor Sheridan.
Other cast in the Paramount+ series
Besides Thornton and Moore, the series stars Michelle Randolph (1923) as Ainsley. She plays Tommy’s strong-willed 17-year-old daughter. Moreover, Jacob Lofland (The Son) plays Tommy’s son Cooper, a new addition to the demanding work in the oil and gas fields of West Texas. Tommy’s roommate,
Moreover, Kayla Wallace (When Calls the Heart) stars as Rebecca Savage, an intimidating and capable liability attorney, along with James Jordon (Yellowstone, Special Ops: Lioness) as a petroleum engineer.

The Paramount+ series Landman is executive-produced by Sheridan, Wallace, David Hutkin, David C. Glasser, Bob Yari, Ron Burkle, Geyer Kosinski, Stephen Kay and Michael Friedman.
Meanwhile, Landman is currently filming in and around Fort Worth, Texas, and so far, no premiere date has been set on Paramount+.
