General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that fans will soon learn the truth about what really happened to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) in the Cassadine tunnels. The story of Jason’s return will begin to unravel the week of February 19th.

This GH teaser is an interesting one since it reminds fans that the last time, they saw Stone Cold was under the Cassadine estate, which begs the question: could a member of that family have found Jason and kept him hostage all this time?

GH spoilers hint the Cassadines tend to have nine lives. Just when someone thinks a Cassadine is “dead” and gone, they pop up, out of nowhere. 

There is a chance that if Jason was being held hostage, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) would be the one keeping him from Port Charles; however, he was very preoccupied with events in the little town after Jason’s passing.

Plus, he JUST died, so there’s little chance he might return, although, in the land of soaps, anything is possible.

There’s a small chance that Helena Cassadine could be alive, but her portrayer, actress Constance Towers, seems pretty happy with only sporadic appearances on the show, so that may not be plausible. But, what about Stravos Cassadine (Robert Kelker-Kelly)?

GH Spoilers – Could Stavros Cassadine Be Alive?

In 2014, Stavros was shot by Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and left to die in a clinic before an explosion took place. By all accounts, he’s likely dead, but in the land of Port Charles, he could easily return.

Besides, now that Victor and Helena are gone, and Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) have turned a new leaf, the little town is desperate for a Cassadine villain to wreak havoc in everyone’s life.

Jason’s return may not only launch a major storyline of his comeback, but it could also unveil a new reign of Cassadine terror if Stavros is alive and well, ready to unleash a revenge plan on everyone who’s done him wrong in the past.

Could Stavros Cassadine be alive? Is he the one who has been holding Jason this entire time?
