Meghan Markle’s half-sister, Samantha Grant, has been making controversial statements against the Duchess of Sussex. Grant has been trying to get the attention of Prince Harry’s wife, but Markle is not letting her stunts distract her from duties, per Entertainment Tonight.
Samantha went as far as flying to London to try to seek an audience with the Duchess. She turned up uninvited at the Kensington Palace. But Meghan is just focused on her royal duties, and according to ET’s source, the palace “does not want to dignify” any of Samantha’s acts because it would only add “fuel to the fire.” The source also said that the Duchess of Sussex is not communicating with her sister and their father, Thomas Markle.

But Samantha is not one to give up easily. Her most recent attempt involves showing up at the Kensington Palace again and dropping off a letter for the Duchess through a security guard. “I wanted to express the feelings of my father and myself in the letter. And I can’t say exactly what was in it. The world will just have to wait and see,” Grant told Daily Mail TV.
She begs Meghan to “have a heart” and repair her relationship with their ailing father. Samantha reiterates that their father has been there for Meghan more than anyone else contrary to the public perception that he just wants to be involved in his daughter’s life now that she’s officially a member of the British royal family.
“You know that’s not true and so to let that happen, come on Meg, have a heart, I know you’re a woman, I know you have a heart in there,” Grant added.
Unfortunately for her, the former “Suits” star is not responding to her attempts. “I was hoping maybe we would have the chance to speak — that she would know I was here. But I don’t think that’s going to happen,” Samantha said.
According to HuffPost, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are preparing for their first trip together for official royal duties from October 16 to 31. They will visit Australia, Tonga and New Zealand.
