Jada Pinkett Smith & Will Smith Share Good News

While things have been dicey between Will Smith and his “wife”, Jada Pinkett Smith, the two came together to share some good news about their daughter, Willow Smith.

In fact, they collectively congratulated her on a huge career milestone. More on this, below.

Jada Pinkett Smith & Will Smith – Come Together To Celebrate Willow Smith

Pinkett and Smith fell in love and got married back in 1997, sharing two kids, Willow, aged 23, and their son Jaden Smith, aged 25. Will also has a son, Trey Smith, aged 31, with Sheree Zampino.

As per Hello! Magazine, Will and Jada were over the moon when Willow recently released her first song, “symptom of life’”, this past Tuesday, March 12.

Of course, both parents jumped on social media to congratulate her on this incredible accomplishment.

Jada included a snippet of Willow’s video for the new song, on her Instagram post, noting, “symptom of life’ OUT NOW! Congrats Willow!! You’ve worked soooo hard to become the artist you’ve always dreamed to be since you were a little girl.”

Jada also adds in the IG post that, “It’s been inspiring and an honor to watch your journey all the way through! “I love you”. She tagged her daughter in the post.

Will took to the Gram to share the good news, as well, and also included a part of the Willow’s video, stating, “Go ‘head, Bean!! Yall go peep @willowsmith’s new track, ‘Symptom Of Life'”.

The Smiths Have Had Their Issues As Of Late

Of course, you can’t mention the Smiths without talking about Will’s infamous slap that was heard around the world, when he clipped Chris Rock for making a joke about Jada during a monologue at the 2022 Academy Awards, as the Oscar’s host.

In a PEOPLE article, circa October 2023, Pinkett Smith notes that the couple is still “figuring” things out and doing some “heavy-duty” work together. She did add that they have a “deep love” for each other.
