Savannah Chrisley is still making the reality TV rounds. The Chrisley Knows Best alum was eliminated on the Wednesday, March 13 episode of The Masked Singer. Read on to learn more.
Why Savannah Chrisley Joined The Masked Singer
The latest episode of The Masked Singer was Wizard of Oz-themed. FOX celebrated the 85th anniversary of the iconic film. The stage was transformed into Emerald City. Wednesday’s episode featured all-new singers from Group B. It also included its first smackdown of the season.
The Gumball went up against the Afghan Hound to perform, “Ding Dong! The Witch Is Dead.” The Afghan Hound couldn’t stand a chance and went home. Possible guesses for the Hound include Brooke Hogan, Bethenny Frankel, Olivia Jade, and Sistine Stallone. The panelists were wrong.
The Afghan Hound revealed that she was former reality television star Savannah Chrisley. She made her final attempt at reality TV fame. Savannah appeared on FOX’s other reality series, Special Forces.
She told Entertainment Weekly that she wanted to appear on the show for her parents Todd and Julie Chrisley — who are currently serving time in prison.
“I wanted to do it because this year I like to say it’s my ‘year of yes,'” Savannah Chrisley explained. “So I don’t want to turn down any opportunity that comes my way, but also whenever it comes to TV stuff, my parents can watch this. So if it means that they get to watch it and still feel like they’re part of our life and get to laugh a little bit, then I will embarrass myself a thousand times over just to make it happen.”
Todd and Julie knew Savannah was going to be on The Masked Singer. However, they didn’t know which contestant she was. Savannah didn’t compete on the show to show off her singing chops. She just wanted to have fun during this challenging time in her life.
Teases Return To Reality TV
In August 2023, Savannah Chrisley announced that the Chrisleys were returning to television. A network or streaming service has yet to pick them up.
In her interview with EW, she teased another return to reality TV. Savannah is certain that Todd and Julie will return this summer and they will be back on the small screen.
Savannah has been approached with various projects. She admitted that she’s working on “a really awesome documentary” and a “potentially flip-or-flop type show.”
The reality star wants to appear on Survivor or Dancing with the Stars. She’s trying to make her rounds with the reality TV circuit.
