Paulina felt that she had to save Chanel Dupree-DiMera (Raven Bowens) when she went missing during a freak snowstorm in April.

Chanel was saved and wasn’t far from the cabin. However, Paulina was radioactive and exposed others, including Chanel. Could there be unforeseen consequences down the road?

DOOL spoilers reveal that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Chanel got married again. However, they sure have had trouble getting down to business in the bedroom!

Paulina’s health crisis and Chanel’s too-successful bakery were some issues that delayed the “Janel” honeymoon.

However, Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) ended up telling Johnny and Chanel they could use the Horton cabin for their honeymoon.

As fans saw during the week of April 15, 2024, Johnny and Chanel’s honeymoon was crashed. After Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) interrupted, there was a freak snowstorm in April.

While Johnny went out to get more firewood, Chanel went to find him. Chanel really just wanted to steal a few moments with her new husband, but ended up getting lost instead!

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that once Julie blabbed to Paulina about Chanel, the radioactive mama jumped into action. Paulina not only busted out of isolation while radioactive, but got on a snowplow to save Chanel.

However, Paulina didn’t think this through, as usual. Paulina exposed Chanel, Johnny and Julie as well as others to radiation exposure.

DOOL Spoilers – Unforeseen Consequences?

Even though Johnny and Chanel were checked out by Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans), the doctor really didn’t seem to certain. The tests came out okay enough, but Kayla knows that there could be issues that aren’t obvious yet.

If Johnny and Chanel try to have a baby together, will the radiation exposure come back up? Could Paulina’s actions result in Chanel having fertility problems?

If so, that could negatively affect the mother/daughter relationship. Even though Paulina’s intentions were good, Chanel will still be paying the price. 

There is also the issue of how many people are angry with Paulina over her actions. This includes Paulina’s true love, Abe Carver (James Reynolds).

If Johnny and Chanel’s chances for a family are affected because of radiation exposure, will they hold Paulina responsible? How will Paulina redeem herself?
