Did Meghan Markle ruin the Invictus Games? That’s what some fans out there can’t help but wonder as there’s a new report that suggests the Duchess of Sussex might have put a little too much of her mark on the games, which belongs more to Prince Harry and of course, the veterans who participate in them. Does Meghan Markle need to stay away from all things Invictus? That’s what some seem to suggest. One source close to the situation even put it this way,

“About 2,000 ex-military have left the Games. As they say it’s lost its original meaning. There are some former veterans who would like Harry to step down.”

If that weren’t enough, royal expert and author Angela Levin, who often has something or another to say about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on almost a daily basis, suggests that a lot of veterans just think that the Invictus Games have become all about Meghan.

Royal Family News – The Duchess oF Sussex Needs To Keep Her Distance

She put it this way in an interview with GB News, “Harry was brilliant with them. It’s become much too royal. Meghan makes the speeches.

She actually led a march where some of the ex-military people were either physically, emotionally or psychologically damaged – or all of it – during the fighting.”

That said, Angela believes that it should be more about Harry than it is about Meghan. She continued, “When I went round with him to talk to them, he was marvelous at giving them a feeling that life was worth living.

I couldn’t believe how good he was, spending three or four minutes talking to them. Now it’s all about Meghan mainly and Harry follows behind. And I don’t think people want that.”

So far Meghan Markle herself has not made any comments about the criticism.
