Bravo is sabotaging its new series. Fans are upset with the way the network is treating the Vanderpump Rules spinoff series, The Valley. They blame Andy Cohen for its uncertain future. Keep on reading to learn more.
The Valley – In Danger Of Cancellation?
Bravo’s The Valley has fans uncertain about its future. The show debuted last month and features Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright, and Kristen Doute from Vanderpump Rules. The Valley is the place where most couples settle down and raise kids.
Like VPR, the show also has its share of drama. However, the first season may not have a reunion. Some Bravo fans are calling it a “crime against humanity.”
The Valley cast has different responses on whether a reunion will happen. Jax Taylor believes that it will happen and that it will be a bloodbath.
He was the first cast member to tease a reunion. His estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright, is also certain about a reunion. She shared her thoughts about the show on the red carpet at the White House Correspondents Dinner.
Kristen Doute feels differently about the future of the reality show. During the Thursday, May 2 episode of her Balancing Act podcast, Kristen and her boyfriend Luke Broderick answered fans’ burning questions about The Valley.
“No reunion. I think it is out there that we aren’t having a reunion. But regardless, it is 100 percent true,” Luke confirmed. “There will not be a reunion.”
Luke also revealed Bravo hasn’t renewed the series for Season 2. Kristen agreed and added they hadn’t been asked back to film. She admitted that the ratings for the first season were solid.
“We hope and assume we will be back for Season 2. It has just not been officially told to us,” she added.
Andy Cohen – To Blame For Sabotage?
Bravo fans are upset to learn there won’t be a reunion for The Valley. They believe it has something to do with Andy Cohen, who hosts all of the reunion episodes on the network.
“The Valley not having a reunion is a crime. We desperately need another reunion host for nonhousewives shows because I think this is a result of Andy not being able/not wanting to do it,” one fan wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
“It’s honestly a crime against humanity that #TheValley won’t have a reunion. They thought that the dry a** season of #PumpRules deserved a reunion but not The Valley?” another user asked.
Vanderpump Rules is on pause. The show won’t resume filming in the summer like it typically does. A source told TMZ that the network wants the cast members to take a break. Producers believe a break will generate more drama and interest for the next season.
