One source close to the situation even put it this way, “We must remember that as much as Meghan in this country is a bit of Marmite character, people love her or people really don’t love her, she is likely to be seen very very differently in Africa. So I would have thought actually that she will get huge numbers of crowds coming out to see her because she’s a figure on the global stage and she’s coming to their country.”

While there’s no doubt that Meghan will certainly get a lot of attention while in Nigeria, it’s been suggested that one of the reasons why she’s refusing to step foot on British soil again is because she doesn’t want to be booed or bullied by her haters.

She believes that’s exactly what will happen if she goes back to the UK again. That’s why she would rather avoid going to London and wants to fly directly to Nigeria instead. And who can blame her for feeling this way, right?
