General Hospital Spoilers – Hayden Ditches Finn for Rome

Everyone knows that Hayden showed up, shocked Finn with the revelation that he actually has a daughter, and then disappeared again after leaving their child with Finn. It was basically a “hi again, bye again” moment. Of course, when Hayden showed up and dropped the bomb that she hadn’t actually miscarried as she had originally told Finn, Finn was outraged. (Honestly, who can blame him?) No doubt, most GH viewers would likewise be infuriated if placed in a similar situation!

With that said, Finn was head over heels in love with Hayden at one time. When Hayden left the first time, GH fans will recall that she was pregnant with Finn’s child. Hayden fled to Rome, and while there apparently had second thoughts about leaving Finn behind. Hayden wrote to Finn begging him to come and visit her, but at the time he had already begun dating Anna.

Some fans may agree that in circumstances like that, Finn could hardly have been expected to hold out and hope that Hayden would someday return to his arms. There was every indication that Hayden had left Finn’s life for good at that point. It’s no wonder then that Finn turned Hayden down and decided to pursue the relationship he’d begun with Anna.

GH Spoilers – Finn’s Problems with Anna Aren’t Going Away

However, poor Finn definitely didn’t realize the problems that would be in store for him and his daughter Violet Finn (Jophielle Love). As Finn’s relationship with Anna has progressed, it’s absolutely certain that he wasn’t expecting Anna to go off the deep end when it came to her criminal of a son, Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Although some GH viewers may think that Peter seemed to be cleaning up his act for a while and that Finn really didn’t have anything to fear from the man, Finn obviously wasn’t happy with Peter’s presence.

In fact, Finn’s reaction to Peter gaining more and more influence over Anna’s mind, not to mention Peter’s insistence on being physically present at Anna’s home, maybe quite understandable to some. After all, when he learned that Peter may have been behind the murder of Drew Cain (Billy Miller), it certainly made sense to Finn to distance himself and his daughter from the entire situation. Leaving Anna and her home was a decision for self-defense!

GH viewers know that since then, things have apparently calmed down. Finn no longer believes that Peter is guilty since all evidence points to Dr. Liesl Obrecht’s guilt. Finn even apologized to Peter over the matter and tried to make peace. Still, doubts must linger in Finn’s mind and now those doubts may be inflamed by the suspicions of Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers). Should the pendulum swing back toward Peter in terms of indicating guilt, it’s likely that tensions between Finn and Anna just might flare up once more.

If that happens, can GH fans expect to see a reluctant Hamilton Finn on the verge of marrying Anna? Could they actually be standing at the altar (or in front of a judge) when Hayden decides to thrust herself back into Finn’s life? Could Finn decide that Hayden’s appearance is a sign from the heavens and then ditch Anna for good?

One thing is sure; things between Finn and Anna may be headed for disaster if the issue of Peter isn’t put to rest for good. Indeed, viewers may agree that circumstances just may become ripe for the rekindling of old love in the very near future.
