Is it possible that Prince Harry never really wanted to make the big move across the pond with his wife Meghan Markle? That’s the extraordinary claim being floated in the midst of a bit of turmoil taking place back in the UK.

According to an explosive story relayed to US Weekly by a friend of the couple, Harry had simply had it up to his royal beard with what seemed like wife Meghan bearing the brunt of poor treatment. In other words, the prince cracked under the stress of having to defend his wife, especially with the press being perceived as fanning the flames of discord.

Allegedly Harry thought the answer was to flee the negative atmosphere in his home country, pull up stakes and move to Canada. Despite the bold action, many are now speculating that the move will only serve to exacerbate his original pique.

Will Meghan Markle seek an even brighter spotlight?

Being in closer proximity to the bright lights of Hollywood may only intensify, not dim the spotlight on the little family of three. Prior to marrying her prince charming, Meghan starred in Suits, and apparently the acting bug may still be in her system.

According to sources, Harry also wanted to protect baby Archie from the negative atmosphere in merry old England. Of course, he knows of what he speaks in this regard, as Harry was under enormous scrutiny himself as a young prince.
