In addition to Violet Finn’s (Jophielle Love) fear that Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) wouldn’t be her mommy anymore, what happens if Hayden shows up and tries to stop the wedding?

For a long time now, GH fans have watched as Finn and Anna have romanced once another, fought with each other, and have ever so slowly moved toward marriage. With the disappearance of Hayden, it hasn’t seemed that Anna has any competition for the love in Finn’s heart.

Even faced with the prospect of Hayden somehow showing up at his wedding to Anna, Finn wasn’t fazed. It didn’t make him even contemplate ditching Anna and reuniting with Hayden. In fact, when Violet let Finn know that she didn’t want him to marry Anna because she didn’t want a new mom, Finn went on a whole spiel about how it was okay to let new people into her heart. (The more people you let in, the more your heart grows.)

While that’s all warm and fuzzy, and a lot of GH viewers approve, there are just as many who don’t want this marriage to happen. These fans point out just how ditzy Anna seems to have become, and how willfully blind she is to her wicked son’s machinations. Apparently, she is unfazed by the prospect of Finn discovering that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) is precisely everything she has said that he is not. Of course, GH fans are right to wonder what might happen if Finn discovers the truth. Worse, what if Finn learns he was deceived after he and Anna marry?

These same GH viewers may prefer that somehow, Hayden will crash Finn and Anna’s wedding. After all, she is Violet’s real mom and despite everything, she and Finn had an intense history together!

GH Spoilers – Hayden Barnes Becomes Anna DeVane’s Rival

GH fans will likely agree that if there is any time for Hayden Barnes to return, that moment is now. With Finn’s mental state perhaps primed to make a quick exit from his relationship with Anna, the sudden return of Hayden could be the match that lights the fuse.

Viewers ought to remember that although Finn refused to go to Rome in order to visit Hayden at one point because he was already seeing Anna, circumstances have drastically changed. If Hayden shows up at Finn’s wedding, fans will be kidding themselves if they believe he won’t have immediate, second thoughts. The words of Violet about not wanting to be part of his wedding will fill Finn’s mind. Images of a happy family that includes Finn, Violet, and Hayden will suddenly play in Finn’s mind’s eye.

This is the perfect set-up for Hayden’s return. Unfortunately, for Anna, in Finn’s mind, and for a split second, she will be nowhere to be found.
